Allegranza Chardonnay 2020 13%

6.05

Grape variety:
100% Chardonnay

In 1996, Nicholas Hammeken, who already had experience in marketing and selling wine in various European countries, opened his own business. At first, the company was just selling and reselling wines from other wineries, but then, in 2001, they had their first own line of wines. The company follows the latest global trends in order to produce wine of very good quality and at a relatively inexpensive price from local Spanish grape varieties.

Winemaking

Extreme continental climate with long hot summer. Harvest during the first 2 weeks of September. Cold maceration, and then fermentation at a temperature of 14-16ºC during 3 months on its lees. Aging for 4 months in American oak barrels.

Tasting notes

Clear pale lemon colour, in the nose it reminisces to ripe tropical fruit, pineapple, lychee, with a hint of vanilla and oak. Balanced, with pleasant and refreshing acidity, medium bodied and long finish.
