Tasting notes

The nose is aromatic and offers a fine concentration/intensity as well as a little freshness. It reveals notes of black cherry, cassis and slight hints of liquorice associated with touches of ripe wild strawberry, violet as well as slight hints of nutmeg / spices. The palate is fruity, mineral, balanced and offers a fine tension, juiciness, freshness as well as a tangy/juicy structure. On the palate this wine expresses notes of fleshy/juicy cherry, fleshy/juicy blackberry and slight notes of fleshy/juicy blackcurrant associated with small touches of blueberry, lily, slight hints of liquorice as well as discreet hints of cedar and spices. The tannins are well managed.

Pairing recommendation

Accompanies perfectly a fillet of beef with sauce marchand.
