The vineyard of Château Lynch-Moussas stretches over 62 hectares in the appellations of Pauillac and Haut-Médoc. Ranked as a Pauillac Grand Cru Classé in the 1855 classification, Château Lynch-Moussas was acquired by Jean Castéja in 1919 and has been one of the jewels of the family properties for a century. Passed down to his son Émile, and then by him to his daughter Chantal and his son Philippe, the estate has benefited from the attentions of each generation of the Castéja family, who have cared for, developed, modernised and enhanced this Grand Cru d’Excellence.
15 to 20 days of fermentation in thermo regulated stainless steel tanks. Aged in French oak barrels (about 50 % of new barrels) for 18 months.
Perfect with risotto with ceps, leg of lamb, beef fillet, doe stew, mutton chops.
