About wine

The De Feudis wines are a testimonial of the very old Pugliese origins of the Fabiano family. Towards the end of the 1880s Sergio De Feudis had a daughter called Antonietta De Feudis who was born in Trani. She married Francesco Fabiano, founder of the Fabiano winery, which began in southern Italy and later transferred to the Veneto region. The De Feudis wines come from a collaboration between Fabiano, who has been making wine for over a hundred years, and Varvaglione, an esteemed friend and renowned grape grower from Puglia; they started a long history of combining typical regional grapes with years of wine-making experience.

Vinification

The grapes macerated for 12-16 hours at 20°C to extract the desired colour and the typical aroma of Negroamaro wine. After the pressing the juice ferments at controlled temperature 14°-16°C in stainless steel.

Tasting notes

This Rosè wine is extracted from Negroamaro grapes and its nice cherry color with delicate violet hints makes it stand out. A delicate, fresh and pleasant scent that is reminiscent of cherry and pomegranate. Its taste is smooth, savory, lightly tannic, fresh with a good persistence. Best served at a temperature of 8-10°C.

Food pairing

It pairs well with cheese, vegetable cakes, savory fish and soups.
