The Galpèdar is an animal said to inhabit the forests around Mantua. It is similar to a rooster but has four legs. In the stories handed down by grandparents the bird has a docile and idle nature, combined with a good dose of cunning. In the same way as shrewd people are known as Galpèdars, our wine can be said to be a smart, pleasant Lambrusco that uses its charm and well balanced flavours to generate a contagious bonhomie.
Tasting notes
Lively ruby red with violet reflections and a dense and persistent froth. Itense and prolonged scent of must and red fruit. Lively, with hints of fresh fruit and a good balance between smoothness and acidity.
