11.15

Grape variety:
100% Pinot Grigio

Casa Vinicola Antonutti is a winery in Friuli Venezia Giulia. The four generations of the Antonutti family have been growing grapes in the heart of the Grave del Friuli for just over a hundred years. The winery now owns about fifty hectares of vineyards. The rivers Meduna, Cellina and Taglimento have brought large amounts of dolomite limestone into the area, and the area itself is protected from northerly winds, but benefits from its proximity to the sea. Antonutti grape grows in a place called Barbeano, where the soil is pebbled. The difference between day and night temperatures is large, so the grapes can be harvested later when they are already full of aromas.

Winemaking

Predominantly pebbly plain of alluvial origin, western Friuli. Guyot trained vineyards. Soft pressing of the grapes with cryomaceration at 6 ° -8 ° C for about 12 hours. Fermentation with the help of selected yeasts. Ageing in steel tanks. After bottling, the wine matures for some time in the bottles.

Tasting notes

It is a fresh and generous wine obtained from grape skins through a short maceration until it reaches the typical copper color, aromas of fruit, spices and acacia honey. Bright coppery yellow colour. Notes of fresh fruit in which the pear stands out followed by flavor and lively freshness.

Recommended serving temperature: 10° — 12°C

Suitable as an aperitif. Ideal with seafood dishes and risotto, with fresh salads.
