About the rice variety

Rice of the japonica subspecies of medium and pearl grain, small in size. Originally from the Mantova and Veneto area.

After cooking, its texture remains consistent on the inside while creamy on the outside. It is one of the most famous Italian rices.

Consumption advice

Recommended for Italian cuisine, especially risottos. The broth must be added gradually during cooking. Approximate cooking time: 35 minutes.
