The history of the Fabiano winery began in 1912, when the founder Francesco Fabiano, together with his son Sergio, started selling his wines in the city of Venice and expanded his activities from there to Verona in the hinterland of Veneto. At the end of the fifties, Sergio Fabiano and his sons moved permanently to Verona, initially in the cellar of Colà di Lazi, where commercial activities were carried out throughout northern Italy. In the following decade, the Sonas family started building a new winery, which from the early seventies became one of the largest wineries in Italy in terms of the amount of wine it produced. Due to the commercial growth in the eighties and nineties, Fabiano wines were exported to all the main countries of the world in increasing quantities, making Fabiano one of the main wineries of Verona and the national wine industry.

Tasting notes

Intense, almost impenetrable color and lively tonality are signs of a wine worthy of respect. The respect increases with the bouquet and then the attention is focused on the captivating characteristics of the ripe fruit, caressed by the delicately spicy wood, which leads the tea to an elegant evolution. The palate is persistent, with fine and persistent tannins, perfectly warm and salty. A thoroughly enjoyable wine. Perfect with lamb. Also suitable for aged cheeses. It is recommended to decant this wine.
