The winemaking tradition in Gro\u00df-Reipersdorf bei Pulkau dates back to 1858.
For Simone and Hannes, being winemakers means capturing the magic of nature, understanding each vintage and bringing the best it offers into the cellar.
The Pulkau region fascinates with its diversity of soils \u2013 from the granite of Maissau to the fine loess at the foot of Manhartsberg.
This diversity explains their passion for red wine in a region otherwise dominated by white varieties \u2013 staying true to their roots, they focus on Zweigelt and St. Laurent.
For Simone Hiller-Jordan, wine is the future.
In 2010 she took over the family cellar with joy and has led it ever since with energy, commitment and true passion. <\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Winemaking<\/strong><\/h3>\n

42 is the answer to the ultimate question of life, the universe and everything \u2013 at least according to The Hitchhiker\u2019s Guide to the Galaxy.
For the Jordan family, 42 is the answer to another great question: how long should the perfect Zweigelt mature?
After 42 months in French oak barrels, the wine gains depth, complexity, power and structure.
A wine for special moments, best enjoyed after proper decanting.<\/p>\n

Tasting notes<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Deep ruby red with purple reflections.
Aromas of fine spice, a hint of nougat, delicate notes of cherry and dark forest fruit.
On the palate \u2013 juicy, elegant and silky, with refined tannins lasting through the long finish.
Simply a great movie in a glass!
