\u201cCharacter\u201d is the password of Bruno Fina and his family. Fina\u2019s wines are the result of a land that is loved and fought for, they have the taste of the passion and of that grapes that have been wisely turned into wine, thanks to the dedication of the work in the vineyard. They have the familiar warmth and the experience of who has always done wine and has always know how to narrate it. This is how you transmit the hereditary character of the territory and the harmony of the men that search for excellence on a daily basis.<\/h5>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Winemaking<\/h3>\n

This wine is produced with a ‘Bordeaux blend’. By ‘blending’, we mean the mixing of different wines by grape variety, while the second term indicates those grape varieties originating in the Bordeaux region of France, namely Cabernet, Merlot (as well as, in some vintages, Petit Verdot), varieties now cultivated throughout Italy, and which in Sicily, have shown splendid adaptation. Breeding in contre-espalier, with guyot pruning. 300\/450 metres above sea level, with a density of 5000 to 5500 plants per hectare. Yield of 50 quintals per hectare. Fermentation in steel, ageing in steel, twenty-four months in barrique.<\/p>\n

Tasting notes<\/h3>\n

Deep, very well-balanced, with tannins of exemplary elegance and a savoury finish that argues in favour of its favourable evolution over time. A wine of great substance and depth, elegant, unmistakable on the nose for its intense spiciness, a Bordeaux made rich but measured, not opulent; powerful but never heavy, on the contrary, flowing and juicy.Recommended serving temperature: 16\u00b0C \u2014 20\u00b0C<\/em><\/p>\n

Food pairing<\/h3>\n

The Caro Maestro goes well with lamb dishes, boiled meat, veal kidney, orange duck, roast game and generally with intensely flavoured meat dishes.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
