Teanum was established in 2000 in San Severo, the hometown of its founders, Domenico Demaio and Vincenzo de Matteo, as well as the first Apulian town to obtain the PDO designation, in 1968. Today Teanum has another winery in San Paolo di Civitate and boasts a production of 1.5 million bottles per year, sold in Italy and in some 30 countries worldwide. <\/h5>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Winemaking<\/h3>\n

Soft pressing with pneumatic presses, static decantation of the must, fermentation at controlled temperature (15-17\u00b0C) with selected yeasts. Aging and resting on the fine lees in steel for 3 months. Second fermentation: Classic Method in bottles with aging on the lees for a minimum of 36 months. <\/p>\n

Tasting notes<\/h3>\n

Straw yellow color with greenish reflections. The nose reveals a delicate floral scent with notes of pastry and bread crust. Creamy mousse with fine and persistent perlage. Savory and fresh taste. <\/p>\n
