Bodegas Langa is currently the main winery in Calatayud and the only one with a long and uninterrupted family tradition. The winery is located in an emblematic area, considered magical throughout the human settlements that have taken place in the area. The Sierra Vicor, at the foot of which the winery is located, was a sacred place for the Celtiberians and had a prominent place in the work of the classical poet Marco Valerio Marcial. <\/h5>\n<\/blockquote>\n

About the wine<\/h3>\n

This wine contributes to the uniqueness of a one-of-a-kind and irrational creation, just like the number Pi. A full-bodied wine with balanced alcohol content. It presents aromas of ripe fruit with a backdrop of broom (retama), giving it a distinctive originality reminiscent of Pi. <\/p>\n

Winemaking<\/h3>\n

Clay-limestone soils. Manual harvest. Alcoholic fermentation in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks at 16\u202f\u00b0C. No malolactic fermentation to preserve a high total acidity. Aged for 6\u201312 months in concrete eggs. Approx. 6 months in bottle. <\/p>\n

Tasting notes<\/h3>\n

Yellow colour with lemony highlights. Aromas of white-fleshed fruits (melon, pear and apple) blend with hints of honey and butter. Light spicy and ageing notes. Voluminous and oily on the palate, with a clean and silky mouthfeel thanks to its sustained acidity. Very long finish. <\/p>\n
