Mirabella was founded in 1979 by a group of wine professionals from Brescia with a passion for viticulture and oenology. It was among the first wineries in Franciacorta to believe in the uniqueness of its territory and the potential of the \u201cFranciacorta\u201d name. Visionary oenologist Teresio Schiavi, together with Giacomo Cavalli, laid the foundation of the winery in Paderno Franciacorta. Today, Mirabella encompasses 45 hectares of vineyards registered under Franciacorta DOCG and is renowned for sustainability, quality, and its distinctive style. <\/h5>\n

Every creation, an unmistakable style. From the bond with the land, Mirabella create Franciacorta wine with great personality. One of the distinguishing features is the use of Pinot Bianco, which is rare in Franciacorta: it adds freshness, elegance and gentleness. Another distinguishing feature of Mirabella is the age of the vineyards, fundamental for the longevity of Franciacorta wines, which enjoy a privileged, vocated position with ideal hillside exposure. <\/p>\n

About the wine<\/h3>\n

With more than 35 years of experience in producing ros\u00e9s, and thanks to the advanced age of Pinot Noir vines, Edea Ros\u00e9 is a wine that encapsulates passion and history. Mirabella were among the pioneers of ros\u00e9 in Franciacorta, and this path allowed us to create a Franciacorta Ros\u00e9 with an exciting and enveloping soul, the result of a long and deep conviction in its potential. <\/p>\n

Grapes sourced from all the estate\u2019s vineyards located in the towns of Paderno Franciacorta, Passirano, Camignone, Cazzago S.M., Provaglio d\u2019Iseo, and Rodengo Saiano. The vines grow on glacial morainic soils, trained in Sylvoz (3,000 vines\/ha) and Guyot (5,000 vines\/ha) systems, with an average age of 26 years. Yields do not exceed 95 quintals per hectare. <\/p>\n

Produced from manually harvested grapes, with only healthy, perfectly ripe clusters selected and placed into small perforated crates. Harvest takes place in the first half of August, beginning with Pinot Bianco, followed by Pinot Noir, and concluding with Chardonnay.<\/p>\n

Vinification involves gentle pressing of whole grapes with a low yield (65%), fermentation at 16\u201318\u00b0C in concrete vats, with Pinot Noir macerating on the skins for 18\u201324 hours. Reserve wines account for 5\u201310%. Tirage occurs in the spring following harvest, with ageing on the lees for a minimum of 30 months.
