The story of Masseria Jorche began in the early 1900s, when Giovanni Gianfreda established the family\u2019s first \u201cpalamientu\u201d (an old, traditional winemaking room \u2014 the earliest form of an organized cellar in Apulia) laying the foundation for a winemaking tradition that endured even through the devastation of phylloxera. In the late 1950s, his grandson Cosimo built the first fully mechanized cellar, marking a turning point in the estate\u2019s evolution. Today, the fifth generation \u2014 sisters Dalila and Emanuela \u2014 lead Jorche with passion, expanding the winery, developing the Masseria hospitality project, and creating an innovative Primitivo\u2011based cosmetic line. Jorche\u2019s vineyards include 12 hectares of historic seaside plots and 6 hectares of young vines, cultivating Primitivo, Negramaro, Fiano Minutolo and Bianco d\u2019Alessano. Harvesting remains a manual ritual, honoring ancestral traditions. Surrounded by olive trees and Mediterranean scents, the Masseria offers guests an authentic Apulian experience where history, nature and winemaking come together in perfect harmony. <\/h4>\n<\/blockquote>\n

About the wine<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Masseria Line \u2013 Spumante Metodo Classico Brut<\/strong>
Produced using the Classic Method from Bianco d\u2019Alessano and Fiano grapes, this sparkling wine is an authentic expression of a unique terroir. It offers excellent balance and an elegant structure. <\/p>\n

Harvest<\/strong>: Manual, in small crates
Vinification<\/strong>: Soft crushing and pressing, static clarification, temperature\u2011controlled fermentation
Wine yield<\/strong>: 65%
Aging<\/strong>: 3 months in barriques; bottle fermentation and aging on the lees for at least 90 months<\/p>\n

Visual<\/strong>: Light yellow colour, rich mousse, fine and persistent perlage
Nose<\/strong>: Floral and citrus notes with a delicate hint of bread yeast

Ideal as an aperitif. Its complexity makes it perfect for a full fish\u2011based meal, especially seafood
