In the early 1990s, the Guibert family launched the Moulin de Gassac collection to offer more accessible wines while preserving the philosophy of Mas de Daumas Gassac. The discovery of exceptional terroirs in the natural amphitheatre of Villeveyrac led to a long\u2011standing partnership with local growers. For over 30 years, the estate has followed strict standards: parcel selection, low yields, separate vinifications, and a complete shift away from chemical treatments through biological control and sexual confusion. The finest plots of Villeveyrac and Pinet, with their clay\u2011limestone and clay\u2011silt soils, produce wines with Mediterranean depth and remarkable freshness. All Moulin de Gassac wines are Terra Vitis certified, reflecting respect for nature, people, and terroir. Each cuv\u00e9e is crafted through precise parcel vinification and blending, expressing finesse, balance, and the authentic character of these unique landscapes. <\/h4>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Winemaking<\/h3>\n

Medoc\u2011style vinification: slow maceration (around 20 days) with regular pump\u2011overs and rack\u2011and\u2011return. Partial ageing<\/strong>: 8\u20139 months in oak barrels (1\u20133 wines old).<\/p>\n

Tasting notes<\/h3>\n

Beautiful deep ruby colour with tile\u2011like reflections. Expressive and complex, showing notes of ripe candied fruit and fruit macerated in alcohol. Palate The attack opens on very ripe red fruits. The tannins are silky, round and warm, with lingering toasted notes.
Finish Structured and well\u2011balanced, marked by powerful tannins. A virile, rustic personality, yet immediately pleasant. <\/p>\n

Serving Suggestion<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Serve between 18\u201320\u00b0C. Best enjoyed with food. Open 1\u20132 hours in advance, then replace the cork. Decanting is always beneficial to reveal the wine\u2019s complexity. <\/p>\n
