Since 1956, the Aldegheri family has been working in the heart of Valpolicella, driven by passion, dedication, and a continuous commitment to refining the winemaking craft that has made this territory renowned worldwide. Each family member contributes through a distinct role: Lorenzo oversees viticulture and vinification, Adriano manages administration and the development of innovative production systems, while their cousin Vincenzo leads the commercial activities and public relations. The second generation also plays a vital part, bringing fresh perspectives and modern expertise. The family spirit of the Aldegheri estate, combined with a perfect balance of technology, respect for nature, meticulous grape selection, and constant improvement of winemaking techniques, has enabled the creation of wines that embody the soul of the land and offer moments of genuine pleasure. <\/h5>\n<\/blockquote>\n

A great red wine produced from hillside vineyards characterized by dry, stony soils \u2014 conditions that impart unique sensations to Corvina and Cabernet grapes. To achieve excellence, production quality is carefully monitored, grapes are harvested at advanced ripeness, and vinification is carried out with particular attention. The aromatic complexity, with slightly herbal notes and hints of dried juniper, offers an immediate pleasant impact, followed by the perception of perfect harmony in its full, robust body. <\/p>\n

Winemaking<\/h3>\n

After crushing and destemming, controlled fermentation begins (22\u201330 \u00b0C) with maceration for at least 15 days. After racking and clarification, malolactic fermentation takes place in large oak casks, followed by appropriate ageing in the same barrels. After a short rest in tank, the wine is refined in bottle. <\/p>\n

Food pairing<\/h3>\n

Thanks to its aromatic breadth, it pairs beautifully with dishes featuring truffle (white or black), as well as roasted, grilled or stewed meats. Excellent with hard cheeses that are not overly spicy. Serve at room temperature in large crystal glasses.
