It’s a century-old winery, and it’s the future. Its history dates back to 1821. to the year when manzanilla began to be produced. Since then, Barbadillo has not stopped developing, always looking for wines that surprise and leave their mark.

Winemaking

Amontillado is one of the most interesting sherry wines. They are first grown as Manzanilla with biological aging under “Velo de Flor” conditions for eight years and then move to oxidative aging.
A total of 12 years of aging gives our Amontillado Príncipe the exceptional nuances of both aging processes.

Tasting notes

Nice amber color. Intense, elegant and seductive aroma with notes of hazelnuts. Good balance and structure, good memory. Typical Amontillado dryness which adds to its complexity. Good aftertaste.
