The Ca’ Salina Winery is located in a magnificent position, standing atop a hill in the heart of the Valdobbiadene DOCG area. From its windows you can admire the stunning beauty of the Prosecco Superiore hillsides embroidered with vineyards and the ‘Strada del Vino’ wine road. The estate’s large family villa dominates the surrounding landscape and is an obvious destination for wine lovers visiting the area. Tradition, a passion for the land and an appreciation of simple pleasures. These are the values which have motivated the choices made by Gregorio Bortolin and his wife Neva, and which the couple have passed on to their sons Massimo and Michele. With these values firmly in mind, innovation makes sense, as it contributes to ensuring the quality of Ca’ Salina’s products.

Winemaking

Whole berries fermented off the skins under soft pressure. Second fermentation (or spumantizzazione) in the autoclave under controlled temperature (known as the “Charmat” method or “Italian method”).

Tasting notes

The perlage is lively and particularly elegant. The bouquet is fresh and fruity with notes of apple and acacia flower. With good structure, the flavour is full and sapid.
Serve between 6° and 10°C.
