Château du Rocher is a historic wine estate located in the village of Saint‑Étienne‑de‑Lisse, in the eastern part of Saint‑Émilion. The vineyards grow on clay‑limestone soils, which give the wine its characteristic minerality and freshness.
The wine carries the Saint‑Émilion Grand Cru designation — a higher quality classification that reflects the estate’s commitment to traditional and meticulous winemaking.

 

Winemaking

The grapes are hand‑harvested and carefully sorted. Fermentation takes place at controlled temperatures to preserve fruitiness and softness. Ageing 12 months in French oak barrels, some of which are new, adds structure, depth, and subtle spicy notes.
