Deep in the southwest of France, roughly halfway between Bordeaux and Toulouse, lies the famous Armagnac region. At its very heart stands an estate covering 300 hectares, home to a beautiful 13th‑century castle — Château de Gensac. Grapes have been grown here for more than 600 years. 13. Built in the Middle Ages, Château de Gensac is an authentic AOP Armagnac castle. Following ancient traditions, it continues to produce Armagnac of the highest quality.

Winemaking

A blend of fresh grape juice and Armagnac aged for 5 years in oak barrels, these liqueur wines offer a truly remarkable taste experience. They are unique in their production methods and exceptional in their flavour.

Tasting notes

This liqueur wine opens with rich aromas of ripe dark berries, gentle oak tones and a touch of sweetness. The palate is full, smooth and velvety, showing vivid grape character and a long fruity finish.

Serving Suggestion

Serve slightly chilled, around 10–12°C. It pairs beautifully with dark chocolate, berry‑based desserts, aged cheeses, or simply as an elegant after‑dinner digestif.
