Château Haut-Madrac is located in the commune of Saint-Sauveur, a few kilometers west of Pauillac. Cru Bourgeois of the Haut-Médoc appellation (classification renewed in 2008), it belongs to the Castéja family, heiress of the famous merchant Borie-Manoux, a house founded in 1870 by Eugène Borie. The Cabernet Sauvignon (75%) and Merlot (25%) vines are planted on a hillside of clay-limestone gravel at the edge of the territory of the Pauillac appellation. Their average age is 25 to 30 years old.
Tasting notes
A beautiful ruby red colour. The aroma reveals notes of red and black fruits. In the mouth, the wine is supple, soft and well structured, with harmonious tannins and fresh fruit nuances.Recommended serving temperature: 16° — 18°C

Excellent with meat dishes, aged cheeses, beef and game.
