Château La Gamaye has belonged to the Bourceau family for more than six generations. After spending his youth assisting his father on the estate, Franck Bourceau took over the vineyard in 1983 and has continued to expand it ever since. Originally covering 2 hectares in 1835, the vineyard has gradually grown to 20 hectares. Franck Bourceau has succeeded in striking a balance between traditional know‑how and modern practices. Today, the estate comprises three châteaux across three appellations: Château La Gamaye and Château Terriers des Cailloux (Blaye Côtes de Bordeaux), as well as Château Haut Mangaud (Côtes de Bourg).

Overlooking the Gironde estuary, the Bourceau vineyards are located north of Bordeaux, near the villages of Berson and Saint-Trojan, where viticulture has flourished since the Middle Ages. The Bourceau vineyards have been in organic conversion since 2018. onwards.
