This magnificent estate, located to the west of Saint-Emilion and close to the 1er Grand Cru Classé, Château Figeac, has belonged to the Hebert Maison family since 1933.
Winemaking
Sandy and gravelly soil with exceptional drainage potential. Vineyard area is 5 ha, vineyard age is 30 years. A density of 6600 vines/ha with an average yield of 40 hl/ha. Manual harvesting. Vinification in thermo-regulated stainless steel vats. Matured in vats. Bottled at the Château.
Tasting notes
Deep ruby red colour. Fruity nose with notes of very ripe black fruits. A full mouth that goes towards the freshness of the fruits, introduced by notes of spices. Château Truquet is distinguished by its supple and fine tannins.
