Impressively pure vintage boasting strictly no additives. Aged in un-toasted, extra fine grain French oak casks, and never chill-filtered it is a carefully crafted Cognac. The origins of its creation are beautifully expressed by the cellar master of Leopold Gourmet: “I am so proud of the 6-year-old cognac that I nicknamed it ‘Le Petite Gourmel’, which directly translates as ‘The Gourmel Kid’. A truly exceptional craft from start to finish.

Tasting notes

A wonderful introduction into the world of natural cognacs. Made from eaux-de-vie from the Fins Bois region, it’s a beautifully balanced fine art. Thanks to the distillation process retaining the beautiful aromas and concentrates, the richness and strength of the spirit shines. The perfect example of delicacy and finesse; not aggressive, caramelized, or artificially woody.
