The 2024 Vintage The 2024 growing season was wetter than average, creating challenging conditions for wine producers across Northern Europe. At Rathfinny, however, careful vineyard management enabled 250 local pickers to hand‑select Sussex PDO‑quality fruit for our Cradle Valley wines. Harvested throughout October to achieve ideal phenolic ripeness, the fruit was whole‑bunch pressed before blending in January of the following year and bottling in March.

Winemaking

Inoculated with commercial yeast and fermented in stainless steel, then part‑matured in neutral French oak.
