Back in 1820, Maison De Luze was one of the first merchant houses to bottle great wines from Bordeaux.
Today, this well-established Bordeaux trading house is part of a multi-skilled family-owned group, Maison A. de Luze, which exports over 30 millions bottles worldwide every year.

Wine description

This barrel-aged Sauternes features a beautiful, brilliant, golden-yellow colour and an attractively fresh bouquet with delightful hints of vanilla, peach, citrus fruit, and honey. Smooth and powerful on the palate, this delicious Sauternes has mandarin orange and quince flavours, and a slightly botrytised aftertaste.

Food pairings

Sauternes is delicious as an aperitif, especially with foie gras and Roquefort cheese on toast. However, it is also a treat with fish in a sauce, seafood au gratin, crab, and asparagus. Furthermore, this fine wine makes a great accompaniment to desserts such as floating island and fruit tarts.
