The origin of all things. The soul of the company. Barbadillo is the south and the sea. It is Cádiz and it is the west wind. It is Sanlúcar and it is tradition. It’s a century-old winery, and it’s the future. Its history dates back to 1821. to the year when manzanilla began to be produced. Since then, Barbadillo has not stopped developing, always looking for wines that surprise and leave their mark.
Winemaking
Medium San Rafael comes from Pedro Ximénez’s light touch to the dry Oloroso produced by this type of “Amoroso”, a name that honors its softness obtained during its long aging process with the traditional “Classes” system. Its alcohol and body allow it to be taken with ice.
Our centuries-old soleras give Jerez wines exceptional age. More demanding tastes agree: finesse in its purest form.
Tasting notes
Mahogany color with topaz reflections. Notes of dried fruits, plums and raisins. Balanced and silky.
Food pairing
Traditional: desserts, blue cheeses.
