The family tradition of the Thanisch winery dates back to 1648. In 2001, the son Jörg took over the family business and has successfully continued its operation. The vineyard property stretches across the best steep slopes of the Middle Mosel. The result is finely fruity, delicate Riesling wines with a juicy body and great potential.

Tasting notes

Exciting on the nose and palate, the kabinett with pronounced aromas of citrus and fresh notes of young pineapple. There are also hints of lemon peel and yellow apple. In the mouth the wine is polished, clear and pure with an enormous amount of minerality. It seems like it’s dancing on the tip of your tongue. Wonderfully fresh and full of finesse. A wonderful, light food companion with character.
