Traditional production together with good and excellent raw material and the realization of vinifications differentiated by varieties and plots, allows Pagos de Araiz to create complex and balanced wines. They base themselves on the tradition of a culture, on the wisdom of their ancestors and the knowledge that emanates from this land. Winemaking
Pagos de Araiz Roble is a semi-crianza red wine that has been chosen for the third consecutive year as ambassador of the D.O. Navarra in the category of young wine with semi-crianza. It is part of the “Selection of the Best Wines D.O. Navarra 2020”.Each variety is processed separately to obtain different aromatic and taste profiles depending on the variety and its ripeness. Alcoholic fermentation for about 15 days, with daily pumping over and punching down. Temperature controlled so as not to exceed 28°C. Subsequent malolactic fermentation in stainless steel tanks before ageing for 5 months in American oak barrels.
Tasting notes
Bright and intense cherry red color with a high layer. Aromas of fresh red fruits, clean and intense. Vanilla and roasted notes. Full and sweet on the palate, clean fruits, long and balanced with a silky finish. It is a wine that expresses the origin of the Navarrese land, elaborated with care to define the youth and strength of these varieties grown on the estate. Pagos de Araiz Roble is an easy-to-drink wine and a great accompaniment to the Mediterranean diet.Recommended serving temperature: 15° — 16°C
