About the grape variety

Chardonnay is the great grape variety from which all the great white wines of Burgundy are made.

Winemaking

Once the fermentation is over, the wine is aged in oak for a couple of months to add flavor and complexity.

Tasting notes

Ripe fruit and flowery nose. On the palate, it begins with smooth yet sharp aromas of grapefruit and lemon followed by a rich texture giving place to hints of honey and white flowers. The finish is long thanks to good acidity levels

Food pairing

The Maconnais area of production produces fruity, aromatic wines without too much acidity on the finish. Drink chilled (12°C) with fish or shellfish.
