The Anne de Joyeuse cooperative is named after a well-known 16th-century figure, the Duke of Joyeuse, who was bestowed the lordship of Limoux by Henry III.
About the wine
The Camas range, declined in 11 different grape varieties, expresses all the diversity, the aromatic richness and the typicality of the local terroir. The generosity of each of these wines perfectly sums up the state of mind and the values of Anne de Joyeuse’s winegrowers.
Vineyards
Sustainable vineyard management focuses on observing the natural cycles of the vine and fostering biodiversity. The plots, located on clay‑limestone soils, are selected from the three terroir zones of Limoux: Haute Vallée, Oceanic and Mediterranean.
Winemaking
Direct pressing, traditional winemaking, followed by cold settling. Fermentation takes place under constant temperature control.
Tasting notes
Bright and luminous colour. The nose reveals light citrus notes and green apple, echoed on the palate with a pleasant roundness and a very mineral finish.
Food pairing
Perfect as an aperitif with oysters from the Thau lagoon. It also pairs beautifully with lightly grilled fish. Serve at 10–12°C.
