Aqva Lvce Gin, distilled in the Distilleria dell’ Alpe in the Italian Dolomites, is characterized by its distinctive pufferfish logo and a deep-rooted history. Inspired by Antonio Levarin, an Italian marine who first became acquainted with gin through his friendship with an English officer during the First World War, this artisan gin draws on Levarin’s passion. After the war, Levarin used the knowledge he had acquired and began to produce his own gin.
This artfully crafted gin is based on a carefully selected blend of 12 botanicals and is distilled in two historic pot stills from the Second World War era. The selection of botanicals includes juniper, cumin, bay leaf, hops, wild thyme, gentian, iris, rose hip, angelica and hawthorn, which give the gin its unique aroma and characteristic taste.
