The origin of all things. The soul of the company. Barbadillo is the south and the sea. It is Cádiz and it is the west wind. It is Sanlúcar and it is tradition. It’s a century-old winery, and it’s the future. Its history dates back to 1821. to the year when manzanilla began to be produced. Since then, Barbadillo has not stopped developing, always looking for wines that surprise and leave their mark.
About the wine
Quãdis, a creative derivation of the ancient name of the city Quadis (Cádiz), gives its name to a red wine as Andalusian as the land that gave it birth. It honours one of the region’s most historic enclaves in a wine that shares its name and grandeur.
The grapes grow on the famous chalky Albariza soils in Barbadillo’s Gibalbín vineyard, where the Mediterranean climate and Atlantic influence create ideal conditions. A state‑of‑the‑art vinification facility located within the vineyard ensures outstanding quality.
