The Ca’ Salina Winery is located in a magnificent position, standing atop a hill in the heart of the Valdobbiadene DOCG area. From its windows you can admire the stunning beauty of the Prosecco Superiore hillsides embroidered with vineyards and the ‘Strada del Vino’ wine road. The estate’s large family villa dominates the surrounding landscape and is an obvious destination for wine lovers visiting the area. Tradition, a passion for the land and an appreciation of simple pleasures. These are the values which have motivated the choices made by Gregorio Bortolin and his wife Neva, and which the couple have passed on to their sons Massimo and Michele. With these values firmly in mind, innovation makes sense, as it contributes to ensuring the quality of Ca’ Salina’s products.

Winemaking

Very short maceration of the grapes under soft pressure so as to maintain the colour of the skins.

Delicate and elegant with a pleasantly tangy after-taste, this lightly aromatic, brightly transparent wine has a bouquet with clear hints of fresh fruit.
Straw yellow colour with green highlights. Lightly aromatic bouquet with clear fragrances of fresh fruit. Delicate and elegant flavour with a pleasantly bitter aftertaste.

Food pairing

Ideal with first courses with vegetables, delicately flavoured white meats and fish.
Serve between 6° and 10°C.
