The Ca’ Salina winery is situated in a magnificent location on a hill in the heart of the Valdobbiadene DOCG area. From its windows, one can admire the stunning beauty of the hills lined with Prosecco Superiore vineyards and the famous “Strada del Vino” wine route. The large family villa dominates the surrounding landscape and serves as a natural destination for wine lovers visiting the region.
Tradition, passion for the land, and an appreciation for simple pleasures — these are the values that guided Gregorio Bortolini and his wife Neva, and which they passed on to their sons Massimo and Michele. With these values firmly in mind, innovation becomes a natural step, helping to ensure the consistent quality of Ca’ Salina wines.

Ca’ Salina — Sui Lieviti. Bottle‑fermented sparkling wine.

Winemaking

Whole berries fermented off the skins under gentle pressure. Second fermentation: in the bottle (the original method used for the first sparkling Prosecco, where yeast settles at the bottom).

Tasting notes

Colour: straw yellow Bouquet: fruity, with unmistakable notes of yeast and bread crust Flavour: light, subtly sparkling, fruity and delicately aromatic

Food pairing

perfect with oily fish, cold cuts and cheese. Left on its lees, Prosecco is among the finest companions for these foods. Serving temperature: 6 – 10 °C.
