The Anne de Joyeuse cooperative is named after a well-known 16th-century figure, the Duke of Joyeuse, who was bestowed the lordship of Limoux by Henry III.

About the wine

The Camas range, declined in 11 different grape varieties, expresses all the diversity, the aromatic richness and the typicality of the local terroir. The generosity of each of these wines perfectly sums up the state of mind and the values of Anne de Joyeuse’s winegrowers.

Vineyards

With reasoned viticulture, the winery’s methods of cultivation are based on the observation of the natural plant cycles of vines and the development of biodiversity. The vineyards, planted on clay and limestone soils, have been selected within three identified zones of climate and terroir surrounding Limoux: Upper valley of the Aude, Atlantic and Mediterranean.

Winemaking

Grapes are pressed directly on their arrival at the cellar, then vinified traditionally and fined at cold temperatures. They are then fermented under controlled temperatures.

Tasting notes

Bright pale gold in colour with scents of white flowers on the nose, evolving on the palate towards notes of white fruit and a fresh, citrus finish. Best served between 10°C and 12 °C.

Food pairing

Fine and well balanced, it will accompany all sorts of fish dishes and will also be ideal as an aperitif.
