2021. In 2021 Marsura Family purchased a historical Winery in the Treviso D.O.C area. Its name was “Castello Carboncine” , which it’s been later shortened to “Carboncine”. Carboncine Winery has already a long time tradition in producing some of the most typical grapes in that area such as Merlot, Malbec, Chardonnay and of course Glera for Prosecco.
Winemaking
Made with a long-Charmat method (6 months second fermentation; compared to the usual 1–3 months) this Prosecco is as rich and enticing as a young champagne, while keeping its fruity character.
Tasting notes
Elegant green apple, pear and hints of citrus fruit. Intense and fresh.
Food pairing
Ideal as an aperitif or perfect with all kinds of fish and Asiatic dishes.
