The story of Canard‑Duchêne unfolds as a tribute to an enduring legacy shaped by an unbreakable bond and a profound respect for the land. For more than 150 years, the House has remained faithful to the values established by its founders: harmony with nature, long‑lasting partnerships, and unwavering authenticity. When winemaker Léonie Duchêne and barrel‑maker Victor Canard united their expertise, they sought to craft Champagne that would embody the distinctive character of the Montagne de Reims — the land they cherished. Their passion, dedication, and belief in their craft laid the foundation for a style that continues to define Canard‑Duchêne today. The House carries this heritage forward, revealing the richness of its terroir and creating Champagnes that celebrate elegance, freshness, and a deep respect for tradition.
Rooted in the heart of the Montagne de Reims since its foundation, Maison Canard‑Duchêne has always maintained a deep connection with its terroir. In 2021, it naturally partnered with Reforest’Action to support biodiversity.
“It is through such projects that we give true meaning to our actions. A Champagne full of freshness and fruit, more connected than ever to our terroir.” — Cynthia Fossier, Cellar Master
The 2024 limited edition celebrates nature, highlighting Pinot Noir and forest‑edge terroirs such as Épernay and Mailly. Extended aging in the cellar reveals the fresh, fruity character that defines Canard‑Duchêne Champagnes.
Through this cuvée, Canard‑Duchêne contributes financially to forest restoration and has helped replant nearly 40,000 trees in the Épernay forest.
Reserve Wines 20%. Aged for 3 years in our cellars. While at its finest upon release, it may be aged an additional 2–3 years if stored away from light at a stable temperature between 10°C and 15°C.
