Maison Cattier — Champagne with Heritage

Maison Cattier is one of the oldest and most renowned family-owned Champagne houses, with a legacy dating back to 1625.
Located in the legendary village of Chigny-les-Roses, in the heart of the Montagne de Reims, the House embodies French elegance and timeless Champagne tradition.
The Cattier estate covers 33 hectares of Premier Cru vineyards, producing wines of exceptional depth, finesse, and perfect balance.
Its three-level cellars are among the most impressive in Champagne — a place of quiet and coolness where wines mature to grace life’s most special moments.
Maison Cattier is more than Champagne — it is a symbol of taste, prestige, and French perfection.

Winemaking

Clos du Moulin Rosé Premier Cru comes from a 2.2-hectare historic walled vineyard located on the sunny slopes of the Montagne de Reims near Chigny-les-Roses.
The blend combines three vintages selected for their ageing potential.
Composition: 64% Chardonnay and 36% Pinot Noir.
Aged on lees for more than 8 years, with a dosage of 4 g/L.

Tasting notes

Brilliant colour with a delicate terracotta-pink hue and very fine bubbles.
The nose reveals fresh and fruity aromas — raspberry, candied orange peel and a hint of licorice, followed by subtle spicy and peppery notes.
On the palate, the freshness continues: vivid raspberry at the start, then spice, a touch of bitter orange zest and light tobacco on the finish. The aftertaste is long, balanced and refreshing.

Food pairing

Perfect as an elegant aperitif.
Pairs beautifully with prawns, sushi, duck à l’orange or gently spiced lamb dishes.
Can also be enjoyed as a dessert Champagne with a red-berry Charlotte or sabayon.
