Finca Ca n’Estella is a family-owned winery managed by the same family, the Rabetllat and Vidal. Delfí Rabetllat was a great lover of wine culture who had even participated in vintages and decided to acquire the property in 1964. In 1992, Mercè Rabetllat and her husband, Jaume Vidal, decided to resume the traditional dedication winery of the farm. Today it is the third generation that has taken over together with a team of external professionals.
Winemaking
Cava produced from the estate’s Chardonnay, Macabeo and Xarel·lo grape varieties. Base wine fermented in barrels. Aged for a minimum of 38 months.
Tasting notes
A straw-coloured cava, offering an excellent formation of foam with fine and elegant bubbles which form a uniform and persistent crown. Its aroma evokes pastries and dried fruit. It is pleasant on the palate, with well-integrated, fine and elegant fizziness. Balanced acidity. Full and persistent with a lingering and pleasant aftertaste.Recommended serving temperature: 6 – 8°C
