Maison Cattier is one of the oldest and most renowned family-owned Champagne houses, with a legacy dating back to 1625.

Winemaking

The Brut Rosé Premier Cru cuvée is composed of 31 % Chardonnay, 26 % Meunier and 43 % Pinot Noir.
The blend includes 41 % reserve wines.
It is aged on the lees for more than 3 years.
Dosage: 8 g/L.

Tasting notes

Colour: pale pink with an orange hue and very fine, persistent bubbles.
Nose: generous red-berry aromas dominated by red-currant, evolving into black-currant and strawberry. With time, dried orange zest, apricot and nutty notes emerge.
Palate: rich and expressive flavours of black-currant and strawberry, with a hint of English toffee; finishes on a creamy caramel note.

Food pairing

Perfect as an aperitif with a salmon hors d’œuvre.
Pairs beautifully with langoustines, baked salmon or even a main-course sushi.
Also matches a strong blue-cheese board and, thanks to its fruit-driven profile, works wonderfully with red-berry desserts or even a classic fruit crumble.
