Maison Cattier — Champagne with Heritage

Maison Cattier is one of the oldest and most renowned family-owned Champagne houses, with a legacy dating back to 1625.

Winemaking

The Brut Quartz cuvée is composed of 45 % Pinot Meunier, 35 % Pinot Noir and 20 % Chardonnay. The blend includes 46 % reserve wines. It is aged on the lees for more than 3 years. Dosage: 10 g/L.

Tasting notes

Colour: straw-gold with very fine, elegant bubbles. Nose: fresh yet complex aromas of plum, prune, biscuit and brioche, melting into delicate orange blossom. Palate: rich yet vibrant flavours of plum, muscat grape, blueberry and dried apricot dominate, before giving way to spicy clove and pepper notes.

Food pairing

Outstanding as an aperitif. Pairs beautifully with gougères or toasted canapés topped with Parma ham. It also has the structure to stand alongside white meat or poultry dishes — such as a chicken ballotine or roasted breast.
