Located in the heart of the Burgundian Golden Triangle (Puligny-Montrachet, Chassagne-Montrachet and Meursault), Chartron et Trébuchet is today recognised for the very high quality of its white wines, including 5 Grands Crus, and is remembered by connoisseurs as the creator of the greatest Puligny-Montrachet wines, symbols of the House.
Tasting notes
Light straw color is a sign of youth and freshness of this wine. There is an immediate sense of freshness on the palate, with lively but balanced acidity, making it particularly drinkable and refreshing. The structure is light and harmonious. Citrus and mineral accents lead to a clean and pleasantly crisp finish. The subtle but complex aromatic bouquet features hints of white flowers, green apple and lemon, complemented by light mineral touches reminiscent of flint.
Food pairing
Ideal as an aperitif, it goes well with light dishes such as fresh salads, fish and seafood dishes, and goat cheese.
