Château Bellevue Guignard is a family‑owned estate located in Saint‑Vivien‑de‑Monségur, on the southeastern edge of the Entre‑deux‑Mers region in Bordeaux. Although the wines here are marketed under the Bordeaux or Bordeaux Supérieur appellations, they often offer excellent value for money in the traditional Bordeaux style.

The estate sits on clay‑limestone soils and produces accessible, well‑balanced wines. The 2022 vintage is made from 46% Merlot, 35% Cabernet Sauvignon and 19% Cabernet Franc. Vinification took place in temperature‑controlled stainless‑steel tanks to preserve freshness and fruit character.

Winemaking

Aged for 6 months in stainless‑steel tanks.

Tasting notes

Clear ruby colour. Aromas of dark cherries, almonds and damp forest floor. The taste is softly spiced, round and harmonious, with ripe, well‑integrated tannins. A pleasant wine at a very attractive price.

Food pairings

Serve at approx. 17°C with grilled herb‑crusted pork chops, mushroom risotto or light poultry dishes.
