Château Pontac‑Lynch, a 10‑hectare family estate classified as Cru Bourgeois since 1932, enjoys a privileged location in the heart of the Margaux appellation. 1720. In 1720, the Count of Lynch built the current residence as a hunting lodge. It later became the property of Mr. de Pontac, an administrator of the city of Bordeaux, who gave the estate its name. Since 1952, the domaine has belonged to the Bondon family.

Winemaking

Separate fermentations in temperature‑controlled concrete vats.
Aged for about 12 months in French oak barrels, with a proportion of new and one‑year‑old barrels.

Tasting notes

Intense violet colour. Aromas of black fruits and toasted oak. On the palate, a lovely balance with plenty of charm and good length.

Food pairings

Pairs beautifully with rare red meats served with a light sauce.
