Château du Levant is the second wine of Château Liot, owned by the David family. Located in Barsac, the estate benefits fully from the microclimate characteristic of the Sauternes region. Harvesting is carried out with great rigor, following a rather traditional method. The vineyard is managed according to the principles of sustainable agriculture. The soil of Haut‑Barsac consists of red clay resting on fractured limestone.

Tasting notes

Brilliant golden colour. A rich nose revealing intense aromas of dried fruits and ripe yellow fruits (almond and apricot), perfectly balanced by subtle touches of honey. Balanced and well‑structured, this Sauternes shows dominant exotic fruit notes on the palate and offers a lively, fruity finish.

Food pairings

Pairs beautifully with foie gras, spicy dishes, Roquefort, or desserts made with yellow fruits.
