This cognac house was founded by Pierre de Segonzac. Pierre came from a traditional bouilleur de cru (cognac maker who distils only his own harvest) family who settled in Segonzac, in the heart of the Grande Champagne growing region of Cognac (Cognac 1st Cru) from 1702. onwards. Pierre’s portrait is quite appropriately used as the company logo, but today Pierre’s grandson Pablo Ferrand runs the family vineyards at La Nérolle in Segonzac. The family still distils its own wine, ageing it with the same care and tradition as in the old days. Christian, Pablo’s father, is responsible for customer service and distribution – worldwide. Pierre would have been very proud to see the revival of his treasured brand and how it works today.

Cognac EXTRA Pierre De Segonzac

Distilled by Pierre in the 1970s, this cognac represents “rancio” charentais at its peak. Complex nose with notes of candied plum and apricot, brioche and cigar box.
Open palate, smooth and rich in the mouth; great aromatic complexity. Permanent finish.
A pleasurable experience full of sensuality
