2023 Vintage The very warm spring of 2023 gave way to a wet summer, but a warm late‑summer period ensured a sizeable harvest of ripe grapes.

Winemaking

Inoculated with commercial yeast and fermented in stainless steel, then matured in contact with oak. Release Date August 2025. Blend 98% Chardonnay, 2% Pinot Gris.

Tasting notes

The 2023 vintage shows subtle hints of oak on the nose, with light notes of pear, apple, vanilla and mango on the palate. A rich vein of citrus fruit carries through, followed by a long peach finish.

Food pairing

This is a lovely light Chardonnay that pairs equally well with shellfish or a chicken pie.
