Located in the picturesque village of Irancy in Burgundy, Domaine Ferrari is renowned for its excellent AOP Irancy wines. Renowned for its traditional winemaking techniques, the estate’s vineyards are enriched by the unique Kimmeridgian soil, which gives the wines supple, fine structures, developed by powerful aromatic bases of black fruits and red berries.
In December 2023, Christophe PATRICE bought the Domaine FERRARI. The estate is first and foremost the story of two men who are passionate about their vines, their land, their terroir and their history.
Winemaking
Situated on the south-facing granite slopes, the vines are planted in Kaysersberg migmatic granite.
Harvested by hand at the beginning of September in sorted vats. Alcoholic and malolactic fermentations, then preparation for bottling, which begins after 1 December. Ageing for 16 months on laths.
Tasting notes
The finesse of its bubbles will surprise you, and its Pinot aromas and full-bodied palate make it an ideal partner. A crémant with character, full-bodied, powerful and deep, with a fruity palate that brings it close to a red wine.
