The story begins in 1747 with their ancestor, who decided to invest in a plot of land in order to cultivate vines. With great enthusiasm and curiosity, he tended the vineyard to harvest its fruit — the grape. This passion has been passed down from generation to generation and lives on to this day.
Seven generations later, the Domaine now works 13 hectares of vineyards spread across five communes and around one hundred individual plots. Today, Michel Fonné has been at the head of the estate since 1989. He took over from his uncle, René Barth, a winegrower, and added the land owned by his parents, who were also vine growers.

Tasting notes

Aromas of orange blossom, peach and white fruits. The palate is nuanced, beginning with notes of honeycomb, chalk, vibrant minerality, ripe citrus and stone fruits. Dry, with medium‑plus acidity, a long and full finish. Very easy to drink.

Food pairing

Pairs wonderfully with mixed salads, mussels, seasoned or homemade terrines, Flammekueche (Alsatian tarte flambée), other flambeed dishes, or traditional Alsatian main courses.
